Brand Agriculture Development International Symposium has been held for seven sessions till this year. The purpose of the symposium is to rise agricultural brand value, actively promote the agriculture sustainable development, and construct the framework and cooperation platform of international agricultural industry. The symposium is supported by the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China and the Representative Office of FAO in China. The participation of important international organizations such as the World Trade Organization, trade associations of developed agricultural countries and world-wide agricultural trade associations make the symposium as a platform for giving full play to the functions of industry guidance and service of international organizations, promoting information technology exchanges, standard certification docking and trade cooperation in agriculture industry, assisting in innovation of agricultural branding and international market exploration, establishing interconnected partnerships among industry organizations of various countries, promoting policy exchanges, resource complementary and industrial cooperation in the field of agriculture and commerce among countries, to construct an open, inclusive and shared benefits platform for international agricultural exchanges, trade and services.
After several years of development, the symposium has provided a platform for communication between relevant directors of agricultural departments, officials of international agriculture and commerce organizations, agricultural policy and brand experts and business leaders from different countries. Through holding seminars, exhibitions and promotion activities, the participants were assisted to establish multi-party strategic cooperation network, promote specific cooperation projects, establish professional trade channels, and expand brand influence. Over the years, political, commercial, academic and media representatives from many international organizations and more than 20 countries and regions have been invited to attend the symposium and share concepts, future development trends and professional opinions of international agricultural brand development from different aspects and based on creative case studies, and witnesses establishment and expansion of multilateral strategic cooperation relations between different governments and industrial organizations in fields of policy, technology and trade. Development models of agricultural industry and high-quality agricultural products are introduced, and cooperation agreements between international brand enterprises and purchasers are signed during the symposium.
